Salted Peanut Butter Cups.
Do I have to say anything more? I adapted the recipe from a house in the hills, where she made them vegan but as I am vegetarian and do eat dairy, I used the real deal.
the what:
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup crunchy peanut butter
3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup turbinado raw sugar
1 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup milk
sea salt to sprinkle on top
the how:
-Line a muffin tin with papers and spray with nonstick spray. I would recommend next time a mini-muffin tin as the regular size made them pretty large. Although that's ok too.
-Melt the butter in a sauce pan over medium heat and then stir in the peanut butter, graham cracker crumbs and sugar. When it's melted together, spoon the mixture into the muffin tins.
-In a separate pan combine the chocolate and milk. Stir over medium heat until the chocolate has melted.
-Spoon the chocolate over the peanut butter, filling the papers almost to the top.
-Sprinkle with sea salt and then refrigerate.
-Try to not eat them all in one sitting.
